The KNOTS 2U NACA Induction System for the normally aspirated Twin Comanche is designed to increase manifold pressure while lowering cylinder head temperatures (particularly the #3 cylinder) A NACA duct mounted to the cowl door pumps cool air through an improved air filter / airbox combination into the engine. Manifold pressure is increased by a little over 1/2" while the #3 cylinder CHT is lowered between 40 and 60 degrees F. Cylinders 1,2 & 4 will show a slight drop in CHT as well as the oil temp. The kit comes with hardware, templates and step-by-step instructions for an easy installation. |
