This new Heater Control Locking Plate is made of lightweight 18 gage steel laser cut for a precise fit and function and designed for models that have a sliding-lever-style cabin temperature control. Historically the cabin temperature in the Piper?s has been difficult to maintain because the temperature control lever moves from the desired position. The new Heater Control Locking Plate provides a positive means for locking the temperature control lever at a setting that will maintain the proper and desired temperature. The plate uses the existing panel-mounted screws (hidden after installation behind the plastic overlay) and installs in just a few minutes.
