The Orion™ 660 series products integrate a RED or GREEN Forward Position Light, a WHITE flashing Anti-Collision light, and a Tail Position Light function. The built-in tail position light complies with all FAA requirements, eliminating the necessity for a separate tail-mounted position light. These products feature advanced LED circuitry, negating the need for additional flasher boxes. The footprint and mounting specifications are identical to legacy Whelen products, ensuring hassle-free installation and retrofitting. Do the Whelen Orion 660 series LED lights fit the same as the Whelen A650-PG-PR? Any modifications needed other than wiring to fit as a replacement - screw locations the same?
Yes, the Whelen Orion 660 series LED lighting replaces the A650 lights. The screw locations and mounting dimensions are the exact same. These LEDs do not require a power supply whereas the old A650s did, so you can remove that from the aircraft and connect the new lights directly to ship's power.

Do these lights require a power supply?
No, a power supply is not used with LED lights.
