Designed from military research and applied to civilian aircraft, the Hoerner wing tip is one of the best modifications you can make to your aircraft. Our wing tip gives improvements in all of the important areas of aircraft performance, and usually costs less than a replacement part.

Our design reduces drag while smoothing the airflow along the wing and control surfaces. By minimizing the vortices caused by the wing and actually having them start later, our tip gives performance increases without the usual penalties. We CAN get increases in climb and in cruise. This wing tip has a flat nav pad for a standard navigation or navigation strobe assy.  If you chose to use your existing nav light you will need to replace the aluminum cover that holds the navigation or navigation strobe assy in place.  The three options for covers are on our web site here:
