    Piper Comanche PA-24, PA-30 and PA-39 high performance wing tips by Knots 2U. FAA STC approved.

    The Arapaho Wing Tip is the most aerodynamic wing tip design on the market for the Comanche series adding 2-3 mph!  It is a Hoerner style (contoured) tip with  lighting built into the leading edge. It has room for  navigation lights and a strobe  The tips will hold a Whelen W1285 series nav light and a Whelen A625 series strobe light.

    The tips are made of the best quality resins and cloth available for reduced weight and superior strength and an excellent fit.

      Excellent quality, clean look.

      I installed the Whelen Orion650E which required a little trimming in the backside of the light recess to fit. Very very sharp and clean look. Its my understanding you can request them NOT to drill the hole for the nav light wires. This is my suggestion if you plan to use the Orion650E as this hole will be in a poor place and will require a bit of trickery to mount the light. It would have been MUCH easier if I could have drilled the holes myself to fit this awesome LED system. This was my fault because I forgot to mention it when ordering.
