    Wing Root Fairing Kit. Piper PA-28, PA-32 and PA-34 Models.

    The Knots 2U Wing Root Fairing Kit is one of our most popular modifications for Piper Aircraft. By smoothing the sharp junction at the leading edge of the wing, where it meets the fuselage, drag is reduced and the air over the wing is cleaner.

    Improvements Include:
    1-2 mph increased cruise.
    Reduced stall speeds
    Improved low speed handling
    Improved stabilator authority in the flare

    They install easily using rivnuts and screws, and all attachment can be accomplished from the outside of the aircraft. The parts come in a glossy white gel coat finish and are made of lightweight durable fiberglass.

    The kit comes with all of the parts necessary to install them and is fully STC'd

      These fairing are a must !! It feels and flies like a different airplane !The Elevator forces during take off and landing (high angles of attack) are SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. When trimmed 1/2" past the neutral mark, the plane just lifts off from the r

      Prior to the fairings install, the airplane rigging was performed to within less than1 degree of the factory specs.

      I added these to my Arrow IV, easy, easy install. The plane seems smoother in the flare, the stabilator seems to be more positive and have better authority. The plane also stalls about three knots slower than before. I recommend these to anyone who has a PA-28, you will love what they do to your aircraft!

      I added these fairings to my 1977 Archer II. Prior to adding the fairings, I would get what felt like a dead band in the yoke during flare. I'd reach a point where moving the yoke produced no results. Adding the fairings changed all that. Flares are smooth and linear. Landings are better now too! I can't say I got a speed increase, since my plane has a fixed pitch prop. But otherwise, the fairings did what Knots 2 U said they would. I heartily recommend them to all Cherokee owners!

      This product really does what it says.... Reduced stall speed and better handling. This coupled with the Gap Seal kit has transformed my A/C.
